My Child the Foreigner

Throughout the Arab world, nationality laws inflict great hardship on people, men, women, men and children. These laws ensure that women are not allowed to pass on their nationality to their husbands or children. And when a family is deprived of citizenship, it is also deprived of all the other rights that come with it. This is the story of some women whose families suffer the consequences of unjust nationality laws, adding to the ordinary burdens of difficult lives.
